Favourites, offline maps & dark mode

Favourites

Bookmark frequent destinations for one-tap routing. Useful for: your station, the local A&E, the receiving hospital for trauma, the fuel point, the workshop.

To save a place:

1. Long-press the location on the map, or open a search result.
2. Tap the star icon.
3. Give it a label (optional).

To route to a favourite, tap the star icon in the search bar and pick from the list.

Offline maps

Map tiles for your operating area are downloaded to the device automatically the first time the app runs on a connected network. After that, planning, search, and turn-by-turn all work without signal.

If you’re going to be working outside your usual area, open the area on the map while connected so the tiles cache before you lose signal.

Dark mode

Night shift? Switch the map to dark mode from the app settings. The whole UI re-themes, not just the map, so it won’t blow out your night vision when you glance at the screen.

If you use CarPlay, the map theme on the CarPlay head unit follows the iPhone’s dark/light setting.
